Des Moines West KOA in Adel, Iowa, just a large gravel field with a few trees. Gerry, Connor and I went to explore the Covered Bridges of Madison County. All of us took a ride on the Boone Valley Railroad, on a very hot day and kind of boring, and as you could imagine Connor did not have a good time. On August 1st it was time to say good-bye to the boys and a drive to Des Moines Airport and send them home to Florida. Hard saying good-bye but I knew I would see them again in 3 months. |
